Who has access?

Wysa Assure is available to 18+ year olds through Vivo when you’re insured with an MLC Insurance, MLC Personal Protection Portfolio, or MLC Protectionfirst policy. Confirm your eligibility at support@vivowellbeing.com.au with your name and customer number.

Duration and availability

Wysa Assure is easy to use and available 24/7, with 5-10 minute self-care exercises.

Remember, you can always register with a nickname, so your identity remains anonymous.

Wysa Assure can assist if you’re experiencing low mood, stress or anxiety, are having trouble sleeping, or would like to improve your mental and emotional resilience.

If you’re in treatment for a mental health issue, discuss using Wysa with your healthcare professional first.

What to expect

Unlimited conversations with the AI-chatbot

Wysa is an artificial intelligence-based chatbot that responds to the emotions and feelings you express. After you have a text-based chat with the Wysa chatbot, it will suggest appropriate exercises based on cognitive behavioural techniques (CBT), meditation, breathing, and other methods proven to build emotional resilience and help you feel better. You can also access these exercises directly from the Wysa library.

24/7 support with your wellbeing challenges

Wysa Assure can assist you to deal better with stress, anxiety, sleep issues, anger, loneliness, low mood, low self-esteem, relationships, coping with pain, and other emotional issues.

A mental wellbeing routine with structured programs

Wysa Assure’s structured program follows a proven framework that builds your mental wellbeing routine. You have morning and evening check-ins with the Wysa AI chatbot and personalised weekly reports. Wysa helps you monitor your wellbeing; guides you through cognitive behaviour therapy exercises, and provides guided sleep meditations at night.

Create a wellbeing plan and track your Well-Being score

The Wysa Assure app helps you establish a wellbeing plan and track your Well-Being score. The Well-Being score is calculated by combining what you recorded about your mood with fitness app data on your activity and sleep.

Wysa was developed by experts – and is anonymous

Wysa is the result of a year-long, co-design effort between a 15-member team of psychologists, designers and developers, and more than 500,000 users. They worked together to understand how AI chat can help people build emotional and mental wellbeing. The team concluded that being able to speak without being judged was vital to the process, which is why all Wysa chats are anonymous.

Backed by science and approved by professionals

Wysa uses only evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), that are suggested and approved by professional psychologists and mental health experts.
