During your video consultation, you'll have the chance to ask any fitness-related questions and receive help creating an achievable plan.

Afterward, you'll receive a comprehensive report summarising your plan, along with extra tips and the option to request a follow-up at a time that suits you.

Who has access to this service?

Our services are available to those who are insured by MLC Life Insurance, members and employees of our partnered superfunds/employers (where MLC Life Insurance is the primary insurer), and immediate family members. Additionally, financial advisers who have a partnership with MLC Life Insurance and staff of their practices can also access our service. Eligibility will be confirmed upon submission of an enquiry or booking an appointment for the first time.

Duration

Fitness Consult is an initial one-hour consultation via video call with a qualified exercise physiologist from Specialised Health, with a follow-up call at a time that suits.

Who does this service suit?

Our program is designed to support you no matter where you are on your fitness journey. With our guidance, you can achieve your goals and maintain your physical fitness.

What to expect

From making an appointment, to speaking with an expert and receiving your report.

Book your consultation

After you request a consultation by completing the service request form, our service partner, Specialised Health, will contact you within three to four business days. From there they’ll send you a link to their Vivo booking page. You can then choose the exercise physiologist you want to work with on your fitness goals and select a time and day that suits you for your video consultation.

Talk to an exercise physiologist

You’ll meet with your exercise physiologist on a video call to discuss your background and fitness aspirations. The exercise physiologist will help you develop an evidence-based plan to achieve your goals.

Tailored fitness plan

Within five days of your initial consult, you’ll receive a summarised report of what you discussed with your exercise physiologist. The report will include relevant supporting information and the opportunity to book a follow-up call, which we recommend takes place within four weeks of your consultation.
