Chronic or persistent pain is pain that lingers. It often stays after an original injury or cause has been fully resolved. The longer pain remains untreated, the greater the risk of the body becoming sensitised to pain and the pain becoming chronic.

Pain Coaching is a tailored service offered via telehealth, under the guidance of an experienced interdisciplinary pain coaching team. It is delivered by a highly experienced consultant who addresses physical and psychological factors.

Who has access to this service?

If you have access to Vivo through your insurance, you may be able to use this service if you’re about to make a claim, are on claim, or are awaiting a claim decision. It is provided and approved based on suitability.

Duration

Approximately 8 weeks, depending on your individual needs and circumstances.

Pain Coaching suits those experiencing chronic pain and fatigue related conditions, and those looking to improve their quality of life. It also helps prevent symptoms becoming chronic or persistent in early stages of recovery.
